Roberto Bolle

Star dancer Roberto Bolle began his ballet training at the age of seven at a local school before being accepted into the ballet school of La Scala in Milan at the age of eleven. After his engagement at La Scala as a principal dancer, Roberto Bolle has been working as a freelancer since 1996. In 2007, he made his debut at the American Ballet Theatre in New York. The 2015 “Bolle and Friends” tour, which took him back to his native Italy, was accompanied by a film crew. In October 2016, the documentary “Roberto Bolle - L'arte della danza” was shown in Italian cinemas. With a new choreography by Mauro Bigonzetti to Queen's “We Will Rock You,” he also performed at the famous Sanremo Italian Song Festival in 2016. Since then, Bolle has been a regular guest at the world's major theaters and has worked with the Royal Ballet, the National Ballet of Canada, the Semperoper Ballet, and danced at numerous festivals.
